Manuscript assessment – up to R3 000
Is the dialogue smooth? Are the characters well developed? Does the manuscript flow and make sense? Have I left any gaps?
These are some of the questions that our assessors will address with you. It helps to get constructive criticism from someone who hasn’t been ‘living’ the manuscript for the past months. Our professionals will give you the feedback you need to turn your manuscript into a masterpiece...or the ‘thumbs up’ if you are already there!
Editing – 13c to 17c / word
There is nothing that ruins a book like bad editing. Many people think that they can edit, but professional editing is more than just knowing what a comma splice is. Our editors are members of the Professional Editors’ Group and have years of experience under their belts. Trust their eagle-eyes to clean up your manuscript. Choose from one of two options.
Proofreading – 10c / word
A proofreader will read your book, checking for spelling and grammar errors, consistency and any typographical errors to be fixed. Proofreading is usually done once you receive you typeset pages from the designer.
